The hospitality was absolutely outstanding, particularly from Graham who
made us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, just minutes to town. However, the room could use a bit of modernization, especially the bathroom which felt cramped. Overall, a very cozy stay enjoying local attractions.

Comfort and Care in Windermere!
Great stay for our romantic getaway! The host gave us fantastic local tips, making exploring the area a joy. While the steep stairs were a workout, it was worth the cozy Double Room. Remember to ask for milk before settling in, just in case.

Our family had a delightful stay! The host was incredibly friendly, sharing tips for exploring the Lake District. We loved the cozy twin room and the easy access to local attractions. Plus, the breakfast was a highlight, especially with the variety of options available.
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom was a bit cramped for a family.

comfortable stay but needs better room maintenance
The hostess, Graham, created a warm atmosphere with his friendly demeanor, making check-in smooth and easy. The bed in room three was indeed very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after a long day. I also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely mountain view from my room, which was a delight every morning.
However, it was disappointing to find that the bathroom fixtures felt a bit outdated and could use some refurbishment.

The White Rose offers an excellent location, just a short walk from the train station and key attractions. My room was clean and cozy, equipped with numerous power outlets and quality coffee/tea options, including soy and oat milk alternatives. The host was particularly helpful, providing tailored recommendations for local activities, making my stay more enjoyable.
Parking on the street can be a bit challenging.

We had a fantastic group trip! The breakfast was top-notch with fresh ingredients, and the rooms were spacious and comfy. We loved visiting Bowness and exploring the educational activity center. Graham and Alison were super friendly and had great tips. The location is perfect for all the attractions nearby. Can't wait for our next stay!
Honestly, the weather could have been better, but that's to be expected in the Lake District!

Just a well-suited match for a short layover in Windermere with high value for money. The owner was super accommodating and helped us find a room on the lower floor due to our mobility concerns. For easier parking, look for spaces on nearby streets to avoid the paid lot.

The stay was lovely! Clean, cozy twin room with a helpful owner who carried my luggage. Conveniently located near everything, so I could pop out for a quick stroll.
The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. I nearly had to do yoga just to turn around in there!

Oh, the breakfast here was an absolute delight! The quality ingredients shone through, especially those free-range eggs. Plus, the cozy room was packed with quality teas and a sweet little cookie stash. Graham, the owner, was a fountain of local knowledge! He even had us sorted with nearby dining gems like Francine's and Popeye’s Pizzeria & Grill, both just a stone's throw away.
